Dr. Danyal H. Nawabi is an orthopedic surgeon at the Sports Medicine Institute at Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS), specializing in advanced care of the hip, knee, and shoulder. He performs arthroscopic surgery, joint replacement, and hip preservation procedures, and serves as Fellowship Director for Hip Preservation.
Internationally trained at Cambridge and Oxford, Dr. Nawabi is a leader in ACL reconstruction, sports knee injuries, hip arthroscopy, and robotic-assisted joint replacement. He serves as Team Physician for the New York Red Bulls (MLS) and is dedicated to providing compassionate, state-of-the-art care for athletes and active patients.
